About Newsdeck

Newsdeck is a reader. It shows headlines and short summaries from public feeds that you choose, and links to the original stories on the publishers' own sites.

Privacy

Your columns, saved stories and settings are stored on this device only. Newsdeck does not ask for your name or email address and does not use advertising or tracking tools.

To load a feed, the app requests it through the Newsdeck feed service, which sees the feed address being requested, as any web server does, and keeps a copy of public feeds for about a minute so publishers are not asked repeatedly. Fonts and website icons are loaded from Google.

Terms of use

Stories and headlines belong to their publishers. Newsdeck links to them and does not host their articles. Some publishers charge for access; any subscription is between you and the publisher.

Sources you add yourself are your choice. The suggested list is offered for convenience and may change.
